Discographies
This section contains two types of contributions: on the one hand, the discographies produced by the Swiss National Sound Archives and, on the other, discographies that have reached us from researchers and collectors outside of our institute. These two types of discographies have essentially different characteristics. For its own discographies, the Swiss National Sound Archives can guarantee the unity of cataloging and presentation and, above all, the archiving on its own premises of all the listed carriers, but in the case of the external discographies, the Swiss National Sound Archives merely acts as a channel for the documentation received. The external discographies may therefore appear with different graphic formats and personal cataloging rules.
