Special collections
The Swiss National Sound Archives has received various legacies and collections of audio recordings from both private persons and institutions. These collections are representative for the artistic and cultural life of Switzerland.
They are documented and cataloged and are enhanced with biographies, accompanying texts, and visual materials in order to present the particular collection in its context.
Collections that have not yet been cataloged, are inventoried. These collections are available to the interested public and to researchers. Consultation is possible following a request to the Phonotheque.
Through our catalog, you can also perform a search confined to a particular collection. Catalog
