Technical services
In addition to internal use, the Swiss National Sound Archives aims to make the fullest use of its own infrastructures, offering all the services described to third parties - for collections of any size: from the private individual with a single disc, to the public institution with thousands of heterogeneous audio carriers.
As the Swiss National Sound Archives is a non-profit institution, financed for the most part by the public authorities, the terms and conditions are explicitly fixed in the offer phase, before accepting a job, and the costs are calculated with the sole intent of covering expenses. As a rule:
- For all work performed in the studio (copying, restoration), the rate is CHF 130.00/h
- For all work performed in the archive (conditioning), the rate is CHF 65.00/h
