He took up the drums at the age of five, after playing at various countryside parties with his family. His passion for music led him to play with several philharmonic orchestras in the Swiss canton of Ticino until he decided to enroll in the Swiss Jazz School in Bern, under the guidance of Billy Brooks. Two years later, he transferred to the Centro della Musica di Cusano-Milanino (Paolo Pellegatti's school) where he received his Diploma. So far he has played with the Silvan Zingg Trio, Altovoltaggio and U.D.O. Now he's playing with Natalie Chandra, ON-OFF and K2.
