The International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives (IASA) was established in 1969 in Amsterdam to function as a medium for international co-operation between archives that preserve recorded sound and audiovisual documents.

 

IASA Deutschland - Deutschschweiz

Die "IASA-Ländergruppe Deutschland/Deutschschweiz e.V." wurde 1990 gegründet und ist seit Februar 1998 ein eingetragener Verein. Zweck und Ziel ist es, die Arbeitsergebnisse der internationalen Fachkommissionen der IASA auf regionaler und nationaler Ebene zu diskutieren und umgekehrt Fragestellungen und Anregungen für die künftige Arbeit an diese Fachgremien und den Vorstand der IASA weiterzugeben.

Archive Association SEAPAVAA, founded in 1996, is an association of organizations and individuals involved in, or interested in the development of audiovisual archiving in a particular geographic region - the countries of Southeast Asia (the ten member nations of ASEAN), Australasia (Australia and New Zealand), and the Pacific Islands (Micronesia, Melanesia, Polynesia)
