Guided tours of the Swiss National Sound Archives

The Swiss National Sound Archives gladly opens its doors to the public, offering the possibility of organizing guided tours for small groups.
The tour lasts approximately 90 - 120 minutes and consists of a presentation of the activities of the Swiss National Sound Archives and a visit to the archives - where more than half a million sound carriers are kept - and to the technical department - where the processes of preservation and digitization of the audiovisual carriers take place.
Particular emphasis is also placed on the activity of documenting and cataloguing sound documents as well as on the innovative VisualAudio technology, designed by the Swiss National Sound Archives and capable of restoring the sound even of broken records!
