Workshops

As a competence center, the Swiss National Sound Archives gladly opens its doors to other institutions offering the opportunity to organize workshops focusing on specific topics in the audiovisual field.
The workshops, in the form of courses or training days, are centered on issues such as preservation, cataloging and digitization of audiovisual carriers.
Thanks to the expertise, space, and technology available at Phonotheque, topics such as the construction of sound archives, copying and restoration of sound recordings of all formats, the development of audio technology, analog and digital sound, and many other audiovisual subjects are also addressed.
